Stillwell
A subscription meditation app: a library of guided audio and video, organised into programmes.
A library people pay to keep coming back to
Programmes, not just a pile of files
Subscription and access handled cleanly
Problem
A meditation brand had audio and video content but no home for it that people would pay for. The content could not just be a list of files: it needed to be organised into programmes people move through, behind a subscription that reliably gates who can see what.
What I built
- A content library organised into programmes, so a member follows a path rather than scrolling a folder, and the brand can shape the experience instead of just hosting media.
- Subscription with Stripe, with access to the library tied to an active membership, handled so the "who can play this" question is answered by the data, not patched in the interface.
- A web app built for calm: content-first, quick to get into a session, light on everything else.
- A data model built for a growing catalogue, so adding programmes and tracking what a member has access to scales without rework.
Results
The useful pattern here is the one behind any subscription content product: the value is in how the content is organised and gated, not in the player. Get the programmes and the access model right and the rest is presentation.

Illustrative UI, not the real interface. The data model isn't shown, to protect confidentiality.
